definitely worth a visit. the tour is quite informative. try the tea at the cafe right next to the factory before you buy anything or go for a tea tasting to save so much money. They also sell tea at a "discounted" price, and they keep saying the tea is sold here and the rest is exported, but I was wondering why price tags were in Indian Rupees. Definitely worth a visit though.

It's a perfect outdoor activity if you're looking for something to learn and have fun at the same time. They do have some rules to be followed like safety gear to be worn before entering but it's worth it. It's definitely a good place to visit once.

Must visit. It's a tea factory located about 5 km away from the Munnar Town. Here you can visit their museum which houses antique stuff from the British era. Also they provide an educative tour of the factory. It's surprising how less we know about tea , that is used by us all the time . They have an outlet where you can buy green tea, black tea and honey. The products of the factory are exclusively exported. So this is the only place you can buy Lockhart tea. Lastly , there is a porch area in the property with beautiful view of the hills. You can enjoy the view with a cup of tea and cake.
